A new addition was completed in early January 2006. The new addition allowed for three new office spaces and a new group room. The old group room was converted into two office spaces and a copy area. The bulk of the labor was provided by inmates at Hancock County Jail. Local businesses and contractors as well as other volunteers helped with the project. The new addition filled an urgent need for additional space. This will allow the Board of Directors time to focus on land and a location for a new center some time in the near future. The clients and staff wish to thank all those who made this addition possible.

As part of Open Door Recovery Centers' desire to assist all military veterans who have longed for a place where they could receive help with substance abuse, we now provide counselors who are trained to help veterans and their families deal with these concerns.
